Wheelchair Photography - Extension Tubes and more
Last Updated: Mon Jan 13 2025
So I finally got around to releasing that Wheelchair Photography video that I’d been agonising over.
You can see it here
I also did a short of some of the images that I’ve taken using the extension tubes and the 50mm lens.

So that brings me to what next for Wheelchair Photography?
See I originally had this idea in the back of my head that it would be a series of informational videos about how to do various photography things, but I’ve come to the conclusion that there are enough of those on the internet already. So instead what I’m going to do is make it more of a diary/project thing instead.
Rather than “this is how you set up lighting” etc, it’s going to be more “so I did this thing and here’s how I did it” interspersed with more short form Roll About videos and such. The idea isn’t to educate it’s to show how I did things and dealt with the extra challenges that being in a wheelchair can bring to doing photography.
I would love to see what other Disabled Photographers are doing as well. Gods know that I am not a professional photographer by any measure and I’m eager to get in touch with those others who are making Photography and Disability work together.
