<p>Not sure what sort of flower it is but the contrast between the deep yellow and grey background caught my eye</p>

Caught this Plover strutting around the gutter on a roll about

They always look so grump with the white stripes above their eyes looking like angry eyebrows

Playing around with focal points here. Wanted to get the focus on the wooden sitting platform so that the background was a bit blurry.

I think it came out well

This lump of mud and feathers is the home of a pair of Swallows that have been nesting and raising their chicks here.

It's been here for 12 months now? So this is the second Spring it will see new chicks and Swallows.

Birds are one of my favourite things to photograph. Not only do they come in all sorts of different shapes, sizes and colours but they're also wonderful to catch on the wing.
